The Board of Directors conducts the business of the sole-purpose corporation, St. Matthew Housing Development, Inc.
which owns and operates St. Matthew House. The Board develops the mission of the project and develops policies
which are in keeping with the mission and ministry of St. Matthew House.

St. Matthew House Staff

The St. Matthew House Staff are responsible for the management, administration and operations of St. Matthew House.
The staff develops, implements and enforces the project policies and is responsible for admissions;
HUD policies and procedures; County and State policies and procedures; budgets and accounts; rent collection;
resident issues and relations; overall maintenance of the building; grant writing; hiring, training and supervising
staff and volunteers in collaboration with the Board.
The Resident Assistants live on-site Monday evening through Sunday evening. They are on-call
overnight for emergencies. They assist the residents as appropriate and keep with the primary mission of
St. Matthew House, independent living, while ministering to the residents according to their individual gift.
